Hick Duarte is a photographer and film director based in São Paulo, Brazil. He shot his first parties and music concerts at 17, willing to create the images that would illustrate his own words. By studying Social Communication, Hick developed a documentary approach to photographing Brazilian visual culture, focusing his work on fashion and youth culture.
Since 2013, his work have already been featured in i-D, Dazed, Hypebeast, CNN Style, Elle Brasil, Vogue Brasil, and among his clients are adidas, PUMA, Heineken, C&A, M.A.C Cosmetics and Marina Abramovic Institute. In July 2017, Hick's largest exhibition "Gaps" took place in New York inside Bonde, a conference dedicated to Brazilian design.
