In July 2017, Hick's largest exhibition Gaps took place in New York inside Bonde, a conference dedicated to Brazilian design. For two consecutive years, 2018 and 2019, Hick was featured on The Fashion Awards' NEW WAVE: Creatives list, held by the British Fashion Council. In 2020, the four covers he shot for Vogue Brasil (September Issue) dedicated to the Amazon Rainforest activists won the Green Award, a global initiative from Condé Nast that highlights stories about sustainability around the world.
